What it does
Metrics surfaces site traffic, content statistics, and module usage counters directly in the admin dashboard, with export/reporting for pulling the numbers out.
Using it day to day
It's read-only by design -- there's nothing to author here. It's fed by the same telemetry events the platform itself already emits, not a bolted-on analytics widget with its own separate tracking.
Install and update
Metrics ships disabled by default -- enable it from Admin → Modules the same way as any other optional module (see Core Platform for exactly what that does).
